We now offer a soilless growing medium suited for Anthuriums and other Aroids. The blend is ideal conditions between 20% and 70% humidity or where growing medium dries quickly. This blend is all organic and provides proper moisture retention, drainage, and nutrients.Â
It is okay to use Aroid Food at the recommended dosage with this mix. There are enough nutrients in the soil to last for 1-3 months, after that we recommend adding additional slow release fertilizer or using Aroid Food with every watering.
One bag weighs 3 pounds and is enough to fill five 4" planters, two 6" planters, or one 8" planter.
The blend is mixed by hand using a combination of these OMRI Certified Organic ingredients: coarse perlite, LECA, horticultural charcoal, coco coir, coco chips, vegan fertilizer and earthworm castings.
